Berkson Music Studio
The students of Berkson Music Studio (BMS) represent a wide spectrum of ages, levels and professional disciplines, each having their musical plan individually crafted to meet their needs and goals. In addition, students at BMS have not only discovered the intrinsic value – intellectually, emotionally and spiritually – that music can provide, but also the joy and pleasure of music learning.
It is for these reasons that BMS has been blessed with long-lasting relationships with its students, many of whom have applied their musical accomplishments outside of the studio to the collegiate and professional arenas nationally and internationally.
It has been an honor for this studio to see the sheer enjoyment of its students, engaged in musical expression and to see the many accomplishments achieved by their talents and dedication.

Craig E. Berkson
Founder - Director - Instructor
Craig E. Berkson is the founder and director of Berkson Music Studio.
As a musician, composer, instructor and mentor, he has forged a standard of excellence among the various musical disciplines that he has been gifted with. This includes a breadth of achievement within the repertoire as a pianist, melodic percussionist and in his successes as a composer.
His musical genealogy is a direct link to Beethoven and Chopin. His genealogy also represents the great pianistic tradition of the 20th century through his tutelage under the renown Carolyn Rankin. This connection as well as his musical achievements combined with a natural love of sharing and educating, has enabled Mr. Berkson to be a unique and dynamic resource in the music community.
