Berkson Music Studio
Lessons
Piano
The piano is the center piece of the Berkson Music Studio and it is from here that the musical journey of the piano student begins. Piano students of BMS represent a varied range of musical styles and interests ranging from Classical to Modern and lessons with each student are crafted to meet their individual needs and goals.
With this said, the Berkson Music Studio encourages a firm grounding of the Classical style, which will then ensure success in any other style the student desires to play. Once a basic technique is established, the student is encouraged to utilize all that they have learned in order to pursue a variety of styles of their choice. In addition, BMS encourages each student to explore additional interests that surround a successful comprehension of the piano such as Composition and Arranging. In addition, BMS also encourages performance opportunities either through recitals, performance projects and other platforms.
